1. Platform Description & Scope

Welcome to Revogist. Revogist is a technology platform that connects patients with independent, verified doctors and medical specialists for online consultations and second opinions. We provide the technology infrastructure (including scheduling, secure notes, audio/video integrations, medical record uploads, and payment processing). Revogist is a technology facilitator and does not practice medicine.

2. Medical Disclaimer & Emergency Care

EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER: IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, GO TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL OR CALL YOUR LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES IMMEDIATELY.

The Platform is not designed for medical emergencies. While we host highly qualified, expert doctors, medicine is not an exact science. There is no absolute guarantee of diagnosis accuracy or treatment outcomes. We strongly encourage patients to seek multiple opinions if they are unsure about a diagnosis. Revogist acts strictly as a technology bridge; we do not practice medicine and cannot take any liability for medical risks, complications, or adverse outcomes resulting from consultations facilitated through our platform.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Services. Registration and login are handled securely via third-party OAuth providers (e.g., Google). Because we do not collect or store passwords on our servers, you are solely responsible for securing your underlying Google or third-party email account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, complete identity information during onboarding and keep it updated. We reserve the right to verify identities, request additional documentation, and suspend accounts to prevent fraud or misuse.

4. Doctor Onboarding and Independent Contractor Status

Doctors on the Platform undergo verification procedures, including checking their medical credentials and licenses. However, doctors are independent licensed medical professionals and are solely responsible for their own clinical decisions and the medical advice they provide. They are independent contractors, not employees of Revogist. Revogist reserves the right to remove doctors who violate platform policies.

5. Patient Responsibilities

Patients must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date medical information, including past health history and current symptoms. You acknowledge that providing false or incomplete information may lead to adverse health outcomes for which Revogist and the consulting doctor are not liable. Furthermore, as a patient, it is your proactive responsibility to seek out multiple opinions or subsequent in-person medical evaluations if you have any doubts regarding a diagnosis or proposed treatment plan received through the platform.

6. Scope of Consultations & Physical Examinations

Our platform supports various consultation modes, including online virtual consultations, in-person clinic visits, and physician home visits, depending on the specialist's availability and your selection. For strictly online consultations, medical advice is based entirely on the digital health records and symptoms you provide. You acknowledge that online-only consultations lack the benefits of a direct physical examination and may be inherently limited. Doctors may issue prescriptions only where legally permitted and clinically appropriate based on their assessment.

7. Appointments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Appointments must be scheduled through the Platform. If you cancel an appointment within the designated cancellation window, you may be eligible for a refund. No-shows or late cancellations will be charged in full. Platform fees are included in the total consultation fee.

8. Medical Record Ownership & Data Incidents

You own your medical records uploaded to the Platform. Doctors retain rights to their medical notes as required by law. In the event of a data breach, we have a response policy in place and will notify affected users in accordance with applicable laws.

9. Acceptable Use Policy and Intellectual Property

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the Platform, harass doctors, or upload malicious content. All intellectual property rights in the Platform infrastructure are owned by Revogist.

10. Platform Availability & Limitation of Liability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Revogist and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any medical outcomes.

11. Indemnification and Termination

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Revogist from any claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your use of the Platform. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in India. Neither party will be liable for failures due to Force Majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, internet outages).
